Dues

After careful consideration, the AAMC Board has made the decision to raise dues for 2026. There are a number of factors that went into this decision.

• Dues were last raised in 2015. Inflation alone would add close to $10 to the 2015 dues.
• We feel our venue is core to our mission. It provides an environment that gives members an opportunity to perform in front of a live audience, to interact, learn from and socialize with other members, and to work on developing their talent with low risk. Many of our members would never get this opportunity if it weren't provided by the club.
• The venue comes at a cost and despite our best efforts we are not able to fully cover the cost with our Parlor Shows and Flea Market.
• We recognize the increase is significant. However we feel that relative to the value received it is very fair. Many of us may spend as much in one or two trips to the magic shop. We also believe the dues are consistent with other types of hobby, civic and service clubs in the area ($30-$60) while below professional skill building clubs like Toastmasters ($120).

Dues must be paid by the end of January. Annual membership dues are as follows.
